March is finally here! It is THE busiest and most exciting month! This year we’ll welcome folks from all over for the various St. Patrick’s Day festivities as well as the Savannah Music Festival.
This month we typically cover everything in green- however, with the arrival of Spring three weeks early, we had to make an eleventh-hour change to the menu. The warmer weeks has meant an early arrival of strawberries at our favorite Ottawa Farms! So we’re switching it up and doing our Ottawa’s Strawberry Salad a little earlier. This will have farm-fresh strawberries, toasted almonds, goat cheese, and spinach topped with our house-made poppy seed dressing. We’ll also throw these berries on our open-faced Ezekiel sandwich. Don’t worry we’ll still have the much loved, often praised, slow-roasted corn beef District Reuben and its sister our turkey Rowena Reuben for all of your Paddy’s Day needs. The new kid on the block is our Bowl of the Month– It’s a Mediterranean-inspired dish with a chilled farro and parsley salad as a base. The perfect healthy, vegan dish to cool down with!
